I am editing my review of caratlane after 3 year.
Not happy now, things are completely changed.
They longer give sgl certificate, so no more transparency like earlier.
I am giving review of my last 3 order.
In one order , I got earrings with of different size and different finishing. They are charging 35-40% as making charge and different size? Well I let it slide as 1 time issue.
Then I ordered another earrings to be delivered at caratlane shop. Delivery date came and no message and mail, so I called and was replied that it has reached Pune store and gave me number.
When I called that number, it was Chennai store and then they provided me Pune store number. When I finally got hold of Pune store, they replied that don’t know your order has reached or not? Call tomorrow or in evening and cut the call, when I scold caratlane then they called again that please pick your product.
There was difference of nearly Rs1800, no mail & imitation from caratlane side for refund. Next day I gain called and raised request for refund, I basically chased them 15 days then only I refund got processed.
Again new earring, it was timely delivery got mail and call.
Again price difference, I got mail that soon your refund will be processed and we will mail you.
When I didn’t get any update till 2 days ( I was alert due to last experience), I called customer support and they told that refund has been processed, it will reach my account in 7-10 days.
Today it is 10 day and I was about to call caratlane, then I am getting mail that my refund has been processed today.
They will lie to you and you difference in price will get refunded after 10-15 days, after many call and follow up.
So basically higher making charges, no transparency in certificate and keep chasing them for your own money.
I think now bluestone and candere is better. Really done with caratlane.
