Cardcaptor Sakura, season 1. It is quite a simple story of a ten-year old girl Sakura who accidently sets the magical Clow cards free, and is asked by the guardian of the cards Kero to find and capture them all.Season 1 ’s episodes mostly consists of Sakura catching a card or two (but it is quite interesting to watch how she captures them), it also shows Sakura’s inter personal relationships with her family and friends, who are another set of charming characters-Yukito, her brother’s best friend and Sakura’s crush, Tomoyo (she is especially cute!)Sakura’s best friend.
In fact each of the characters are so nice, that you can’t help but go into a sugar shock.Thankfully, all the sweetness is diluted by Touya, Sakura’s older brother and Syoaran Li, Sakura’s rival in collecting cards.All in all, Cardcaptor Sakura is an entertaining watch!!
But I would recommend Cardcaptor Sakura, season 2 and season 3, which shows a lot of Sakura’s growth and develops her relationships with other characters and lot of questions about the series is answered.
The animation is of high quality, and the background score is lively and engaging.
