We had a policy with another provider from 2003.
in Aug 2021, we made the biggest mistake of porting it to Care Insurance.
The relationship manager did not do any porting, we were informed initially that everything from the old/existing policy will be updated/integrated into the new policy. However, it looks like a new policy was created without taking any historic information of ailments of the insured person.
As a result, their own claim team has been rejecting our claims stating that no information of the patient is available in their records.
So, it looks like a scam between sales team and the people sitting to reject policies.
We are still fighting this out and will continue to do so. We have been running around for the past 2 months while going through the experience of 4 hospitals with absolutely no insurance coverage.
So, be careful, check the policy clearly, especially while porting it. They have messed up the name of Religare.
