Care Hospital
Must stand for UnCare Hospitals. Few Days ago We (me and My wife) went to Care Hospital for a Skin allergy Treatment for my wife. Being a Sunday we found that all the Local Quacks ( Oops Doctors, I have No High regard to this profession from my past experiences) had shut shop to enjoy the monies they made on week days.
We landed in Care for a General Check-Up, We were referred to the Emergency Out Patients department. LoL Here we found ourselves amidst a group of People jolting with each other not knowing who is a patient and who is doctor and who is the Staff nurse. Amidst this chaos we had a Doctor(claims) who checked my wife and asked for Consultation fee to be paid , until then there was no White Coat (lol Doctor) (Dr. Roy.. I am not sure) present anywhere around.
After Paying the amount and bringing in the Consultation chart the Doctor examined my wife. Alas I found the case sheet full of what, my wife had answered him to his questions. Her past history of Allergy the symptoms and medicines she had taken. And All this was present on the sheet as his own diagnosis and prescription of medicine.. What a Analysis..
Even being a Professional I would have done this . LoL Then came the tactic of Fear Factor.. Giving me a rubbish of what could happen to my wife If I don’t follow this Stupid’s Advice His advice being free of Cost as a Friend rather than a doctor. (I am very Suspicious of such characters who give free friendly advice). He did Advice me for a Day of Hospitalization immediately. LOL
I in fact blindly followed his advice and got her the test he had asked for. Complete Blood test , ATT, BCT .. Blah Blah ... Again at some cost of Rs. 700.00. We were asked to come next day at 9 AM to meet the specialist. I would have been happy if the story of our saga with Care ends here. It took another day for the chapter to close.
The Best part of the entire drama, was yet to come. Next day after few calls, for the appointment with the doctor, we reached the Hospital at the given time. We were asked to wait for our turn. And what was the doctor doing inside his cabin, as we sat outside with the rest of patients.. Planning his week end with his friend. And I am Not Joking.
We could hear him loud and clear outside his room. After few minutes we were asked for the clinical reports by the attendant, who buzzed in and out of the doctor room, only to be told that the doctor does not handle this case and we were wrongly send for consultation to this particular doctor. The doctor did not even speak to word to nor did he meet, my Wife. In mean time we noticed that the doctor… disappear…
ABARACADARA, , , , Gone.
After all this drama, we were asked to see a skin specialist by paying again afresh consultation fee. After creating a ruckus at the reception we were send for consultation to a lady doctor Dr. Chandravathi, who prescribed a cream and few anti allergy tablets, which cost us nearly a Grand and waste of time and energy.
I at times thank God for his mercy and sparing us from these butchers. I think the butcher is atleast sympathetic to his goat before slaughtering …
