In this story Miss marple goes for the vacations in the golden palm hotel caribbean island, as she got bored and wants something exciting, there she found Major palgrave who loves to tell million of stories and his most favourite topics included was murder. Everyone at the hotel tries to avoid his long stories, no one was interested in his stories.
The other day, maid victoria founds that Major palgrave got dead in his room. He was murdered. Miss marple starts investigating and wants to find the murderer. She asks the hotel staff and also Tim and molly kendal who was the owner of the hotel. Major palgrave had seen that tim was planning to kill his wife due to his glass eye. At last Miss marple comes to know who was the killer. The story includes good twist at the end.
