Eyes are considered to be the mirror of our personality. They help us to see our beautiful world and use expressions to communicate without words.
Here I would like to suggest some general tips for caring our eyes.
• Having yearly once eye tests are the important part of our vision health, some eye problems come naturally with age but adequate measures will help us to extend our eyesight even we are into our oldage.
• UV Protection – When we expose to sunlight the harm UV rays cause is irreversible. So we should try to get in the habit of wearing sunglasses with a minimum Sunglass standard category of 2.
• Know about our family’s eye history and share this information with our eyecare specialists.
• We should take regular breaks while doing Computer works, watching TV, Mobiles and other tasks that mostly involve our eyes. Must work with light on while watching Computers.
• Quit Smoking – Smoking is as bad for our eyesight also for rest part of our body.
• Diet – Choose plenty of fruits and vegetables such as corn, oranges and carrot in our diet, sufficient intake of these food can lower the risk of eyeconditions that can accompany aging.
• Enough sleep will reduce the strain of our eyes because of over tired and will help to refresh our eyes and body.
• Drinking sufficient quantity of water will reduce the puffiness around the eyes and it also hydrates our body.
• Like our body eyes too need some exercise, the right time to exercise our eyes is in the morning after we wake up.
Rather than checking out the cosmetics in the market we can use our homemade things like rosewater, cucumber, applying castor oil, lemon and potato to keep our eyes beautiful.
