Carnation was a great concept to start. Appreciate Mr Jagdish Khattar for this fantastic concept. I was pulled into carnation by my frnd who used to service his vechile at their branch in Kochi(Kerala). My review isn’t based on a single instance. I simply could not get any service from them so far.
Although there are multiple instance I would only quote 3 to give you guys a feel of how lousy their service is.
1st instance: My car gave a battery problem for some reason. I got carnation to tow the vehicle to their garage and check what the problem was. They jump started the car and took it for service. I was then informed that my battery has pretty much lost its life. How ridiculous of them to have made that statement. I had changed the battery just 3 months before and till date its still running good. I’m not a mechanical engineer but then I have been associated with cars for the past 10yrs and I pretty much know the technical aspects of it.
This states how poorly their technical expertise is and proves of their fraudulent attitude.
2nd Instance. I had planned a long drive and usually get my car checked before it. I took my car to carnation and very clearly instructed the guy that all I wanted was a wheel alignment and balancing to be done. He did not allow me to complete and when I went back to collect my car I had a bill for 3k. They had changed my synthetic oil which was less than 2 weeks old, oil filter and rest was general service charges. Although after realizing their fault they redid the synthetic oil for me at no cost. I reached my hometown and there I see oil spil due to poor oil filter or bcoz of poor fixing. I had to incur a 5k loss then. I had written to Jagdish Khattar with no response from him. Just wanted to save a good venture from being ruined.
This show how poor their labor is.
3rd instance: Again, I wanted the wheel balancing and alignment done. Gave the car, paid the money. I got my car as is.There was still the balancing issue. One thing is they do call me after each service to get my feedback. I had nothing new to say. Then the guy calls and says, sir; this is the best we could do with your car. grrrrrr! r u guys nutt? Either he should have told me while delivering or even earlier of his incompetency.
This is just hopeless company to get your car done.
Now, I don’t think I would ever give my car for the smallest of jobs nor will I recommend anyone to this specific Carnation on the outer ring road.
