Very bad experience with Carnation.

I had a harrowing experience with Carnation in Pune. I had planned to drive to Goa on 11th May, hence I scheduled my car for a general check-up on 4th May. After numerous delays, they finally picked up the car on the 9th of May. I was informed that they will get the car back on the same day or the next day. Now, sometime during the general check-up, on 9th May, they damaged an entire hub and its bolts, while un-bolting it. The damage was such that it was not repairable.


I was not informed about this when it happened; they kept telling me that everything was on schedule. On 10th evening (6.30 pm), they finally informed me about what happened the previous day. They also informed me that they cannot return the car in time as there was no replacement hub and bolts available with them. They kept me in the dark for 2 days. I had to cancel my entire Goa trip (we were scheduled to leave next day morning), as I wasn’t able to arrange an alternate vehicle at such short notice.


On top of that, when they finally replaced the broken hub 14 days later, they are billing me full charges, including labor charges for the part that they themselves damaged during a simple general check-up.
