Cool Candidate !!!

When you speak about the Carrier Celesta you know that you have a cool customer on your hands. The official description starts with details of the low temperature air purifier catalyst. And how low does this go? Sit in the draft of the AC for just 5 minutes and feel the ambient temperature drop. Although I experienced a change to cooler climes in the comfort of my living room, there was no breathing difficulty encountered. This I presume means that the bactericidal filter was working wonders. The remote is light weight and easy to use. The functions are in capitals on the buttons and require no strain to discern from within reading length. The LCD display makes viewing the status very comfortable to the eyes. The buttons are placed well on the remote making efficient use of space, although I thought that the Power button could have moved southwards. The LCD display on the M/C tells you with a big C that temperatures are dipping. The AC makes full use of its limited space while providing such a useful tonnage. The serrated design (divided into 2 sets of vents by an inverted semi-circle) of the air vents must have some useful function which I am not able to fathom at this juncture. However it does not disrupt the visual appeal of this cooling giant. Noise is tolerable and infact it’s steady hum feels that you have a rather obedient pet at home !!!. The M/C uses a humidity control algorithm and in a humid city like Mumbai, I think that this is a key feature to have. All in All a good buy.
