Worst Service, Never recommend anyone

I purchased an Window AC Carrier Durakool 1.5 on 24th June 2007 from Thermoking, Lajpat nagar, new delhi (distribution agency : Viswa). I got problem of gas leakage in mid of July, I complained to Carrier customer care and also at my local dealer. I don’t get any response from carrier I reached at dealers shop, he sent a technician with me to find out the problem.


Technician checked the AC and he said that it’s a problem of gas leakage but he was unable to find out the place of leakage (may be it was very minor). He charged the gas and said that it may be possible that gas leaked due to some technical problem it is possible that it will not happen in future, and if problem is still there it will happened in 50-60 day in case of regular use of AC.


After 45 days the same problem arises once again, I did the same procedure of complaint once again. This time I filed complaint through internet also and feel really glad to get such immediate response from Carrier, I talked to concern person and ask for the solution which I want in form of replacement of a new machine (although I can understand warranty subjected to repair only during use of machine but what about that situation if dealer sold it with a defect), but the person from carrier told me that first it’ll go through repair process and if is not repairable then I can ask for a replacement and I agreed. He sent a team from laxmi nagar to pickup my machine for repair next day I got my AC back with dent on its fins on front side and major dent on back side, Its base is corrosion free due to powder coated body but it has major scratches at its base during repair which may leads rusting in future also I found that performance of machine is reduced. Problem comes along with the AC from beginning.


It may be manufacturing defect so it is Carrier responsibility to replace the machine to ensure a customer satisfaction that problem will solve in within warranty period. I unable to understand why I suffer if I purchased it from carrier and installed by an authorized dealer. Where is my fault?. also communicate to Mr. K. P. Vaidyanathan and Mr. Nagpal (according to my information they are senior persons for customer support in carrier) regarding this problem but nothing happaned. Now it is a Junk of Rs.19, 000 I dont know what to do with it
