I purchased Carrier Durakool 1.5T AC this weekend (27/05/12) from Kohli Bros ( 13-A, Prehlad Mkt, D B Gupta RD, Karol Bagh, Delhi - 110005) and received it the next day. Got it installed today (31/05/12) and to my surprise the product is defective. On switching it on the first time we got to know that the AC fan isn’t working.
On contacting Carrier customer support we explained them the situation and emphasized that the product has a manufacturing defect as we just switched it on after installation and found it to be defective, and thus asked them to replace it with a new one. The support person said that the product wont be replaced however they’ll send an executive to fix the issue, within 48 hours. This is ridiculous, I spent my hard earned money on the product and in a way I am been given an a product with FIXED ISSUES rather than a completely new one.
On the other hand, the dealer who sold me the product isn’t taking any calls
Do not buy from the mentioned dealer and don’t ever go for carrier products. I am sure the money you have is hard earned.
