Very bad service/spares management

I have bought the P Series split AC from Vashi (carrier dealer) in May 04 and the AC was working very well till servicing done in Oct 05.


During the servicing in Oct 05, the technician broke the swing motor lead and asked me to replace the swing motor. Motor was replaced after a month giving explaination that the motor need to be imported. After fitting the lead/motor, technician broke flap blade and because of which swing is still not working. Have asked dealer atleast 50 times, talked with Carrier office Mumbai and the answer is same. All spares are imported and they need to be ordered. Dealer is saying that he has placed order six month back and still the spares are not replaced.


Don’t know what kind of customer service carrier is giving. Despite of signing a service contract with carrier from same dealer, this is all happening. Without any service contract, what type of service these guys are providing is very big question.


Looking at the spare and service, I don’t recommend Carrier AC for any home usage.
