Worst Quality and After Sales Support

I am writing this review after seeing an advertisement by Carrier Aircon in Times of India, Delhi boasting 24x7 customer care support!(Middle of Day, Middle of Night; Trust our Round The Clock Care) that’s what the advertisement tells.  However, reality is completely different.


I purchased on AC from Carriers Dealer in Noida; ACE Technopack on 13th March, 2016. On next day the installation guys came and after 9 hours(!) they could not install the AC. The reason given was that both the AC and the Voltage Stabiliser(purchased from same shop) are defective. Immediately, I called up Carrier Customer Care and registered complaint(TRN 13922594) . Since then 2 technicians visited us and both of them confirmed that the indoor unit is defective. But company is not showing any willingness to replace the same, rather they were pressurising me to repair the brand new unit giving reason that it might again break down in next 15 days, so I cannot ask for replacement them. This is the quality standard that the company personnel themselves have on their product. Since then 18 days have passed and not information from company. I have written 4 more mails to customer care and made numerous calls to both dealer and company, but not solution. As last resort I will make a legal suit against carrier for harassment and mental agony  in consumer court.


My advice is don’t buy product from Carrier Aircon. All their fancy claim of superior product and efficient customer service is a big fraud.
