On promotion, I got a new perk car from my company in Jan 2018. I wanted to sell my Top end Fiat Linea car which is 5 year old as I was not willing to maintain two cars.
Expecting best possible price for my car, I approached CARS24 office near my location. I made to wait for few minutes and an executive approached me for discussion.
I gave all possible details about my car including single handed use, new tyres, battery, regular servicing etc. After working for a while on computer, the executive informed me that my car would fetch Rs. 170000/- which is best price in the market. He explained that all the vehicle transfer formalities will be taken care without any extra cost.
As I was not expecting this low price for high end luxury car, I returned home without proceeding further & posted Ad of my car on OLX. Within, 15 days I managed to sell my car at Rs. 320000/-. The RTO clearance was done personally by buyer with only Rs.1500/-
My only advice to car sellers is, before selling your car on CARS24, check the offered value by different sellers on other sites like Quiker, OLX etc & decide your selling price. Don’t fall pray to flashy advertisements
