Customer Service Executives - immature/ill-trained

As I have plans to go abroad, I posted an ad this morning on Carwale.com to sell my sparingly used new car for 10.5+ L. After some time I got a call from CarTrade.com Customer Service Executive who verified all the details which I posted and suddenly talked to somebody in his office & offered me a price of 5L(to my surprise / shock).


I did not know how to react because I thought the CarTrade.com Customer Care Executive was either out of his mind or was trained to take advantage of customers like us. When I asked him how could he offer me such a low price for my new car, he simply(coolly) said that it was just an offer price from their end and asked me again about my expectation(which was already stated).


I feel pity for such executives who are either immature or ill-trained as Customer Service Executives; they are in fact doing a disservice to both the customers and in turn to the companies they work for - as with such a service a customer like me will never return.


As for me, I have removed my ad my CarWale.com and posted it on OLX.in which I feel is a much much better & fair marketplace than CarWale.com / CarTrade.com.


Till now I have been a great admirer of CarWale.com & BikeWale.com but now with this experience I will be very careful in posting any ad or using any of the services of CarWale.com / CarTrade.com / BikeWale.com.
