Paid the entire amount before hand. Confirmed and reconfirmed booking. Still did not get a self drive car.
Story in short:
Booking made for 5 a.m. on 18th May, 2014 (after full amount payment). Called up on the night before(i.e. 17th May) to ensure that the car shall be available at 5 a.m. and was told its a 24/7 service.
Reached Trident Renault, KR Puram, Bangalore by 5 am.
i) Did not see anyone there and the entrance gate was closed. Woke up a guard and he said to come at 9:00 am.
ii) Called up on the number provided in the "reservation mail" below - 8130349189. The person who answered rudely said that the car will be available only after 2:00p.m.
iii) Called up the customer care for Myles/Carson rent - 0888222222. The executive who answered - Puneet set up a conference call with the first guy with number 8130349189. Puneet insisted to the guy that a resolution be provided at the earliest and told me that a confirmation will be given in 10 mins.
Kept waiting from 5:00 am to 5:45 am at Trident Renaut; with not a soul around. At 5:45 called up on the number 8130349189 and the phone was unanswered. Again called up customer care and was told to contact the Bangalore Manager Mr. Madhusudan. A complaint with the id - 48574 was registered.
The reason I had booked the car was since I had to pick a family member from the airport. Left for the airport at 6:30 am. Got delayed. Anyways Mr. Madhusudan calls me at 10:a.m. and asks me to come to a destination 15kms away from the original destination - Is this a joke.
Reach home at 12:00 p.m. Call up the customer care to check on the complaint. I was told I will be given a call on Monday; since Sunday was a holiday. No calls received; No refund as yet.
Complete harassment even after paying the entire amount.
Waited for around 2 hours at a lonely place with false assurance.
