Casa de Goa bangalore review and menu

Casa De Goa in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore has a blue and white color décor, which is a Portuguese styled home, giving it typical Goan vibes and you will feel like you are sitting in a dimly lit shack on a breezy evening. As the name suggests you will get amazing Goan food here and also some Malabar food as well.

Their butter pepper prawns are a delight that you cannot miss. Their mutton liver fry is heavenly and you will lick your fingers.

Their okra fish curry is also yummy and with appams they are like a match made in heaven. Their prawn rachedo is mouthwatering and you will not be able to stop raving about it.

Their prawn on a satay stick is also pleasurable to the taste buds. It is cooked really well and the lemon gives it an extra zing. Their prawn curry is lip-smacking and you are sure to devour it in minutes.

Their chilly prawns also hit the right notes on the gustatory senses. Their chicken curry and coconut rice also don’t fail to impress. Their mapusa fry will win your heart because it is just perfect.

Their prawn’s vindaloo has a good taste but I don’t know if it’s authentic because it does not taste like the one I had at Goa. Their pork roast is quite good and you will love it. Their chicken wings are also a star dish here. Their crab cakes are not that good as it has a weird smell and is not the good kind of pungent and you should avoid it unless you want to be disappointed. Their crab pepper is good but the pepper may be overwhelming for some.

Their mushroom peas poi has some mushroom and peas tossed in some masala and has some onions and bell peppers and is a dish that will make you go “wow”. The poi is Goan bread and it is lovely and you have to try it once if you haven’t already! Their konkan corn fry is a brilliant starter that is deep fried and it tastes just like a pakoda, so what is not to like? Their butter garlic prawn has an amazing sauce and you will love it. Their Goan red rice is something that I had never heard of before and it is really good.

Their cucumber mint cooler is very bitter and even after adding sugar; the bitter taste just doesn’t go away. Their Bebinca with ice-cream is a dessert that you must have.

Overall, Casa De Goa is a place where you should go to have an amazing lunch or dinner.
