Conti food at affordable prices - thats Casapicola

Way back in 2004, the first outlet where I had my first fish and chips in Bangalore was the Cunnigham road outlet of casa. Its been 4 years since then and now I can claim I have eaten at 4 outlets of casa in Bang - the one at CMH road, Koramangla, Residency Road and Cunnigham Road. I love The Only Place for its ambience. Ceaser for the variety in menu, Tiffanys for its location but when I decided to go back to studies (MBA) in 2007, Casa has been my most preferred location for conti food. It’s affordable, has enough variety in menu and the taste and quality really appeals. In my 4 years of visit at Casa, the prices have increased  ( Non veg steaks, Fish and chips used to be 110 Rs in 2005/06..now its 140 bucks), they have started charging service tax of 10%. However, the experience still stays profitable.

I have always loved their soda pops (specially orange soda pop), Jamaican coffee, fish n chips (well bongs and fishes always maintain close relation), chicken steak in red wine sauce and chocolate sundae. My friend who is a vegetarian suggests paneer fritters, veg pizza and banana split sundae.

The ambience at casa is great (the one at Kormangla remain my fav.). There have been many occasions when I gave gone all alone, enjoyed my lunch without eyes staring at a girl lunching alone and come out satisfied. Service is good and fast. However, certain times during rush hours on a weekend things slightly get out of control - you seem to be waiting for endless hours even for a glass of water. However, barring those few instances, casa is great place to hang out with friends, take your family and even for eating alone.
