If there is one place in Bangalore universally appealing and a favourite with the youth, its got to be Casa’s. There is something very cozy and friendly about this joint. Over the years so many new fast food joints have sprung up in town but Casa’s has always had its regular inflow of young customers. Nothing’s changed. Though the crowd is usually young, it is equally suitable for families. I often meet up with my school and college friends and we just don’t think of going anywhere else. Its just understood, if we meet its surely at Casa’s. It is not just the place that is so cool , its also the delicious food. The baked dishes are lip smacking (the beans and mushroom especially) as are the grilled sandwiches. Then there is the tempting desserts to choose from. My favourite being the apple pie with whipped cream. Ooh! I could just sink into one right now!! Hot , melting pie with a dollop of cream. Bliss!! The icecream variety is also worth having a go at. Recently indulged on a After 8 mint and chocolate icecream. Very refreshing I must say...
Though Casa’s has outlets all over Bangalore, I always prefer going to the main one in Devatha Plaza. Its worth going all the way, and is actually quite centrally located.
I just love the place..You may find me someday with a group of my friends laughing away as I devour an apple pie...
