Casas has always been an excellent, and a very local place to hang out . So whether you are in Residency Road, Cunningham Road, Indiranagar aor Koramangala, there is sure to be a Casas near you .
There is something so wonderful about the fact that some things dont change at Casas . The matter-of-fact service , magazines available for lonely diners to read , the crisp garlic bread , the Sloppy Joes, the Bombay Steak, , Country Chicken Salad, Carbonara , - all fabulous - and all consistently so.
The pastas - especially the Tettrazini is something I enjoy, and also the Salami Fritters. The mayonnaise and french fries are a great side item, and I am always trying to see if I can steal some from a more health conscious husband! The meat quality, as well as the cheese - and quantity - is always good, and thats important . Somehow the pizzas dont excite me much - I once ordered a vegetarian one and when I saw potato (potato?) on my pizza, I never ordered one again!
For the evenings that you want to eat out , but dont want to get anything fancy, dont want Indian food, - its the perfect choice. And as you slip into the familiar beech iron chairs , and put your elbows on the familiar table, you know with happy anticipation you are getting value for money , and a good meal.
Casa Piccola, like Corner House - is very Bangalorean - and as the teenagers who have grown up with Casa Piccola as a hangout place with their friends, will ascertain - its a place that you are always happy to revisit.
