Recently we went on a holiday to Ooty, Since we are members with Casa Retreat Bangalore, The stay was confirmed by the Co at Saagar Resort. We drove down to Ooty from Bangalore, left Bangalore around 6 A.M the drive from Bangalore to Mysore was excellent with a four lane highway and stop over options like Coffee day, Mc Donalds, Kathizone, we really enjoyed the drive. Reached Ooty around 2 P.M.
The weather at Ooty was typical hill station like, you could feel the chill in the air, even at 2 P.M there was mist hanging around and the sun was so soothing, It felt as if it was morning time.
Saagar Resort was simply superb, Location was serene, overlooking the love dale valley with massive land scapes around, Our first expression was "awesome", We were allotted a Cottage at the resort which was huge with a living room and a massive balcony overlooking the valley, The morning experience was wonderful with the balcony doors open we could see the mist entering the room, The exp of sitting amid the mist having your morning tea was unforgettable. The resort has a home theatre and a fairly decent collection of movies, The food was good, specially the dinners. Children really enjoyed the place there was lot to do for them, indoor games, cricket etc. Our three days stay felt so short, we didn’t realize when it was time to go back.
We were a little skeptical at the time of joining Casa Retreat as members, we have had some bad experiences with a few co.s in the past, so we were a little scared. But this one holiday with them at Ooty has removed all my fears and today I can vouch for their services and facilities. I am sure they will offer us Resorts of the standard of Saagar.
