I got a call on last Saturday from a lady. She told me that I have won a gift in a lucky dip @ forum mall and I should come and collect the gift at their office situated just opposite to Brigade towers.
When I said I never have brought anything at Forum mall, she replied it may be from Garuda mall or Esteem mall or Bangalore central. When asked about the details, she said she is a new employee and don’t have any details with her. She asked me to bring my family to their office and collect the gift. When I told my wife is away, she said you can send your parents. When I said my parents live in a different place, she said you can send your uncle/aunty or any relatives but they have to be couples.
I told her to keep her gift as this is just an old gimmick which I had experienced with the Country club. Fortunately I didn’t end up paying anything to Country club. Looks like these people want to relieve salaried class people with their hard earned money. So next time when you get such type of calls simply ignore. I am sure that the one who uses mouthshut(Compare before buy/spend on anything) is conscious enough to find a suitable hotel/pacakge himself than giving money to fraud like Casa retreat.
