Review CASIO SF 4980ER

It consists of a 4X16 display with EL backlight. Unlike other DD’s you are not restricted to just one screen of data. The unit is not even fussy about the type of data entered. For eg you can input alphabets along with phone numbers etc.
It comes with a whopping 256KB of memory (huge by DD standards). I have around 100 telephone contacts, 20 memos, 600remainders, quite a lot of expenditure entries and all this takes a mere 6% of the memory!
There is general currency conversion (you can change the currencies and the rate) and euro conversion.
It is powered by 3 CR2032 batteries (included) and comes with an excellent manual that shows you every aspect of the DD.
If you donot need a PDA(or cant afford one) the go for the SF 4980. It will satisfy all you general needs and lots more. The only drawback I can find is that the unit is slightly large (but not as large as a PDA).
