One of my alltime favourite, Cast Away is a complete Tom Hanks show depicts a FedEx employee stranded on an uninhabited island after his plane crashes in the south pacific and his attempts to survive on the island using remnants of his plane cargo.
Flawed but fascinating, Cast Away offers an intelligent script, some of Robert Zemmic’s most mature directing, and a showcase performance from Tom Hanks.
