One of the greatest ever !!!!!

Black humour is not everyone’s cup of tea but if you are so inclined then this is one book you can’t afford to miss at any cost. I first read this book many years back and have been kind of revising it every now and then. the plot is intricate but the characters are simple and the novel is par excellence. you will rolling on the floor most of the time. joseph heller has taken the backdrop of the world war and shown the human side of the fighter pilots and in the process given to the english language one of the most often used phrases, namely catch 22. life is full of catch 22 like situations.
