A MUST read

Let me begin by saying that this is one of the first books that made an impact on me as a person. To be a little perceptive when it comes to us teenagers…. Some one told me that the name of the book didn’t make sense, Catcher in the Rye. Well it’s the only thing that Holden can think of doing, as a career that will make him happy …catching little children as they come down the slide. In a sense he’s whimsical and doesn’t know what he wants in life. So of course if your starting off for college or, choosing a career or the like you MUST read it.

Holden’s struggle to fit in with his family and life in general is touching. It’s a must read for Psychology students too. Holden’s comments and his actions can be analyzed on numerous levels…

I’ll stop here...I don’t think I’ve done justice to the book but bottom line…its fantastic… and I also recommend Nine Stories by the same author.
