In my opinion of the novel, I thought it was alright. I wouldn’t call it an exciting book but it is a book that may keep a teen interested. The story is about a boy name Holden Caulfield who is kind of like a rebel, drops out of school and is wandering around New York City. Holden is a symbol for every teen that wants to rebel and experience the world on their own terms.
