I just had the privilege to use the services of Cathay Pacific Airlines. My route of travel was from Mumbai -> Hong Kong -> Tokyo. I was hugely impressed by their services.
First of all, the departure and arrival time of the flight was bang on time. It started right on time from Mumbai reached before time on Hong Kong, again started on time from Hong Kong and reached almost 15 minutes earlier at Tokyo airport. It always lessens your tiredness if flight follows the schedule punctually especially when you are jumping so many time zones.
I was travelling in economy class and I must say that seats were quite comfortable and spacey as compared to some other international airlines I have used previously. Even though I was sitting at window seat, it required very less adjustments for travellers on other two seats to make way for me whenever I had to get up.
The washrooms were also very classey which doesn’t suffocate you as if you are sitting in a closed box.
The in-flight entertainment was good enough to kill my time during the flight. It had some of the newest movies available for viewing.
The services of stewardess was quite good too. Especially for my flight during Hong Kong to Tokyo, I was especially given Indian food in spite of the fact that most of the travellers were Japanese. And the food was tasty enough to relish.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience flying through Cathay Pacific. Another preferred international airline in my list after Jet Airways.
