Well, to be honest, I am feeling so proud to get the opportunity to write this review and express to Celina how attractive a woman she is. Okay, may be like many others who are harsh critics of her acting, you might tell me I’m drunk or have no idea what I am talking about. But this is serious folks, I mean it, Celina is the hottest chick in Bollywood. Whenever I check her out I find out what she’s all about...glamour yet with natural beauty and a sense of charisma to fall for.
Celina entered Bollywood with KHEL and instantly became a joke as far as acting is concerned. Her voice and dialogue delivery were both the object of the everyday joke of a Bollywood fan. JANASHEEN, her second movie did no favors to her. Despite of the fact that she simply mesmerized me in her bikini, she couldn’t shut those critics up who still made fun of her amateur dialogue delivery. Even I couldn’t understand why someone so Indian like Celina couldn’t cope well with her Hindi speaking skills.
May be it was the natural problem of camera friendliness in the beginning. Some people are blessed enough to be comfortable right from the beginning. And even though Celina had been Miss India and Indian’s entry into Miss Universe before her entry in Bollywood, perhaps she found it hard to conform to the trends of Bollywood. Yet, the lady kept her head high and I must say continued to entertain her diehard fans like myself.
Her journey continued and she got hotter and hotter by the day though what really brought her the glory was probably her role in SILSILAY. In SILSILAY, her brief appearance registered an impact that marked a drastic improvement in her as an actress. Celina delivered her dialogues in a much natural way with much more ease. Needless to say, she looked the most gorgeous lady out there.
Then, NO ENTRY came and it was no stopping her. May be it was Anil Kapoor, or Salman Khan, or Lara Dutta, or even Fardeen Khan who people consider as the show stealers. But there is no doubt that Celina looked every bit the character she was asked to play. As the cute girl-next-door, she simply sizzled her audiences with a sharp performance and an amazing look in the song ’’Ishq Mein’’. Watch the song closely and you will know what I’m talking about.
Then I came across the promos of JAWANI DIWANI and realized what a saving grace this lady has been in a disastrous movie like that. I mean may be Celina wasn’t productive enough in the movie, but she is gorgeous enough to keep her fans like me glued to the screen.
Cut to today and I still feel she hasn’t been done justice to. TOM DICK and HARRY too became at least a critical failure and didn’t help people discover her talents as Kim Sharma was preferred to her in a more powerful role. Regardless, to me it was Celina’s presence that accompanied Himesh’s music to help the movie to go to a place where it is today. I am sure her beauty helped ZARA JHOOM JHOOM to become a great video too while TERE SANG ISHQ should’ve had more of her. In TANHA JIYA NA JAAYE, she proved her capability to look equally attractive in a traditional outfit. She simply rocks when it comes to good looks.
Even otherwise, despite being surrounded with a few controversies regarding her bad attitude here and there, I feel via her interviews that Celina is a very misunderstood lady. She tries to communicate with her fans every now and then, at least as far as I know. I may not know the whole story but despite being treated lower by than the rest of the group by the organizers of the recent HEAT concerts, I believe Celina kept going and was one of the only few to register an impact. So I believe really this lady should get more chance on a major platform to come up and deliver. She truly deserves more attention.
