Central bank of india is a government recognized public sector bank in india. I have opened a account in this banks branch of my college. This bank gives me facility of visa debit card, internet banking and phone banking.
Every customer having access to internet banking can use its phone banking facility. for using this facility one have to download its app from store. Its phone banking gives user option to watch his account details along with transaction details and can do transactions like bill payment and fund transfer. Its phone banking facility is good.
Its atm are not present every where. Even I live in delhi and I feel difficulty with founding its atm. Mostly I have to transact through others atm. So in my opinion central bank should pay attention on expanding its atm networks.
I take its internet banking facility with the moment I open account. And I enjoy it very much. It gives me facility to fully access my account from anywhere with my phone. And in case I forgot my password it gives option to recover it with the help of my registered phone. For authenticating the transaction it gives me three options of using grid card or otp or digital signature.
Its customer service is worst. It has given two number for helpline but the call connects occasionally. Most times on connecting call either they say number is wrong or number is switch off or anything. Many times call connects but not received after full ring. So in case of any problem I have to go to branch.
In my opinion there is need of much improvement to the bank in its services.
