Central plaza is one of the oldest single screen theatre in south mumbai.I saw many movies there at times when there were no multiplexes.However with time even things need to change this is where central plaza failed.Today in generation of multiplexes with digital screen, Dolby sound, Good picture and sound quality.Central plaza failed to get up with competition.
They recently did rennovations however rennovations dint turn up things for them.Seats are so painful that it make you to seat 90 degree straight with no push back.Watching even a good movie with discomfort is not at all a good movie experience.They need to upgrade things to enhance movie experience.
Pricing of tickets are average not too high not too low.It has perfect location.It just need to upgrade itself.
How I feel about central plaza?
The seats were decent before the renovation but now they are like circus seats! I just watched a single movie after the renovation! They don’t charg less than the multiplexes but they don’t give the proper service! if I won’t get tickets from any other theatre I won’t watch the movie but won’t go to central plaza ever though the place is near by my home!
