I just saw the ad of "Chaini Chaini Chai" and thought how can they do that. I agree that both the product of the same company but the name is so similar,
For Tea: Chaini Chaini
For Tobacco: Chaini Khaini
In India, who wants to purchase a tea from the company who
is dealing with tobacco and so famous.
Then I realized that they just want to target their own earned customers like Paan wala or Tea Maker who already selling Khaini and now, use the tea at their shop or home.
But, as I am Thinker, again realized if it is the right strategy then why they run the ad on TV and hired Malaika Arora. They’’re spending money means they want new customers.
So, they should change their name.
But, if they changed the name, who knows the brand?
Actually, either they’’re chose the wrong product or they have to stick with their old customers and promote this offline.
