I just got back from the movie and just had to write about
it! As any typical Sunday, a houseful board is frequently is shown to walk ins like me and I had to hop quite a few *plexes *to finally find a seat.
At the onset it felt like the same ol stuff , the defeated & defamed playerwho gets sworn at by the whole world, & a jitter of seeing another *APNE *did tingle my spine briefly. But it was so smooth after that, there was never a dull moment throughout the movie. A very well crafted & orchestrated movie,
i’d say.
I bet you would be engrossed & gripped up till the last moment, I was! As most sports movies do, this one too deals with the hurdles of an amateur team on their road to glory, but it does give you a real feel with board room politics restraining play at one moment, player ego & differences getting in way at another.
All that & more, makes one to get under the player’s skin and feel the pressure to perform(as we all often do!!).
Without letting out any more details, I would recommend this one to everyone.
Everyone, who has ever lost anything in life or felt defeated. Certainly, CHAK DE*
raises your spirits and brings up a good fight back spirit in you. Watch it for entertainment, Shah Rukh Khan & last but the most, I N D I A.As for me, I would watch it many more times than I watched LAGAAN, watch it & you might agree with me!!
