I have always enjoyed watching historical dramas. My love for such shows drew me towards this tv serial which airs on Colors Tv. Ashoka was an emperor of Maurya Dynasty who is one of the most prominent and remarkable historical figures. I remember reading about him when I was in school. I always thought that he was a dauntless emperor, a warrior. This show aired in February this year and covered the story of how his parents met and his birth.
The cast consists of amazing actors, each fit their roles and beautifully portray them. The lead actor steals the show with his charisma and amazing acting skills. Sidharth Nigam has a bright future, he is absolutely brilliant as Ashoka and deserves appreciation for his acting skills.The rest of the cast includes amazing actors like Sameer Dharmadhikari and Manoj Joshi. Currently the Takshashila Adyaya is going on, an interesting chapter of Ashoka’s life. Instead of watching saas-bahu serials it is better to watch shows like these.
