When initially the ashoka serial was to be telecast the most viewers were eagerly waiting for the historical great person i.e. The Great Samrat Ashoka. At first most viewers welcomed the directors initiative to bring history back.!
The show started with very pride. so much promotion were being done. The people who really don’t know ashoka the great, they were also attracted towards The Great Samrat Ashoka to know his greatness.
But this was for some time period only. After few episodes, the show was getting to be bored. It has different reasons. The director was trying to stretch the episodes unwantedly. The viewers are getting suck of unwanted stretching of episodes. One of the reason is, the serial is loosing its historical status. The general peoples and most importantly the history students are getting nervous. They are not getting what they want.
The serial is seems like ’Saas Bahu’ serials, not a historical. The director needs to take hard work for this.
