Atleast the tickets were cheap at PVR Pune

I really don’t want to dwell on the political side of the movie but what really irked me was the quality of the acting. If you were to compare a Gangs of Wasseypur to Chakravyuh what was amazing about the former was that every actor irrespective of how miniscule a role was perfectly cast.

Compare that to Chakravyuh, in scenes with a lot of people if you were to pan across to the people in the back you can clearly see some of them laughing. At times you can see actors in minor roles looking at where the camera is supposed to be.

The lady who plays Arjun Rampal’s wife is an atrociously poor actor. The guy who plays Kabir Bedi’s son is laughable. Who does the casting for these movies. What works for Arjun Rampal is that his voice is so freakishly awesome that people do not realize that he is not a great actor.

Not one of Abhay Deol’s best work. Manoj Bajpai & Om Puri have very minor roles.

What do I know. This is a country where Ek Tha Tiger made a gazillion rupees. So go on, leave your brain at home and go watch this average movie.
