It is a melodramatic film and lead roles are played by Juhi Chawla, Shabana, Azmi, Divya Dutta, Jackie Shroff and many more. This film is based on a story on a school. Two school teachers form a very good bond with their students and they help them from their heart. But problem starts when an evil teacher joined the same school as principal.
This film is mainly on the privatization of school. This film was directed by Jayant Gilatar. This movie shows that the school is in Mumbai and the good teachers are Juhi Chawla and Shavana Azmi. Everything was going so good but suddenly they evil lady joined the school as principal. This role was played by Divya Dutt. She was very ambitious and was trying to up scale the old school and that is where issue arises as she tried to give the ownership of the school to private organization in search of money to modernize the school. Later on fight continues between Juhi Chawla and Divya Dutt and at last Juhi wins as being the representative of good.
The plot is interesting but it is once again like old wine in new bottle. We have seen many hindi and regional movies which are also based on fight between good and evil. And obviously at last the good wins. We all knew that. The plot was chosen is new; privatization of schools. And all of actors and actresses are very good so if you see this movie you would not have any issue with acting. Performance is so good. But the plot is very old. It is like after 40 - 50 minutes of the the movie, you already know what is going to happen in the end. But strong acting of Juhi Chawla, Shavana Azmi and Divya keeps you watching the movie till last.
This is a good melodramatic movie which you could enjoy with your family.
