Some ideas even when they are great, parts played by great actors end up being mediocre if they are not executed well. Even after having a cast of actors like Shabana Azmi, Girish Karnad, Divya Dutta and Juhi Chawla this movie seems like a good idea gone haywire. Quite a recurring theme in Bollywood these days.
Plot - The movie deals with a a malice that has afflicted the Indian Society, the commodification of Education and how a bunch of good hearted teachers who wage a battle against the management and the evil principle, wonderful played by Divya Dutta. Though the intent was good and the actors did a great job, the movie comes of as dull and boring and can make you go to sleep. It is an oft repeated topic and the plot seems extremely predictable.
Cast - The movie has an amazing cast with some big names like Shabana Azmi and Girish Karnad, Riccha Chaddha, Jackie Shroff, Juhi Chawla etc. The cast is the only thing you might want to see this movie. Ironically, collectively they have failed to deliver, thanks to the stupid direction and boring script
Sound Track - Nothing home to write about, nothing that I will remember in this movie.
So should you watch it? Yes, If you have nothing else to do, though I hope not. Otherwise just chuck this movie. Not worth your time and money
