I remember that the first time that I went to the cinema in bombay, was to see a new famous indian movie entitled chalte chalte. I remember the first time that chalte chalte has been diffused was on the 16th of june. And 1 week later we went to watch on this movie, me, my indian friend ankit, and kaotar. It was on tuesday the 24th of june. The cinema was the metro and it was so crowded. The film was in hindi, so it was difficult for me and kaotar who are french to understand the story but thanks to ankit, we managed to understand, each minute he explained us what raj and prya (the name of the main characters in the film) said. Even if I didn’t directly understand the story because of the language, I managed to understand it thanks to the pictures and the behaviers to the actors who were superb. This movie was a mixing of romance, violence and sadness, and the most important the difference of cast in fact, raj was issued of middle class and prya of the high society, it illustrated the cast in india which are very well known, yeh I have never seen such a difference between the classes. I cried a lot at the end of the film because it has touched me so much... I was very impressed and we could have thought that the story was real. So if you haven’t seen this movie yet... what are you waiting for?... go and buy the dvd. It is not a movie that u can miss. But what I found not good, there wasn’t subtitle for foreigners who watched on this movie.
