Perched atop a height of over 900 meters and established in the 10th century A.D. by Raja Sahil Varman of Pahari dynasty, Chamba has become a destination of choice for quite a few tourists visiting Himachal Pradesh. Not to be missed is the Central Park with its panoramic views spanning most of the beautiful sights here. To feast ones eyes upon some lofty architecture, the Protestant Church of Scotland turns out to be a fabulous spot. No less satiating are the interesting relics at Bhuri Singh Museum and the Champawati Temple dedicated to Princesss Champawati.
