Just completed reading Chanakya’s Chant by Ashwin Sanghi. Read great reviews on flipkart and decided to order. Should say I’ve not been disappointed. It’s a nice book to read but probably I was expecting tad more.
The story is about the original Chanakya and Gangasagar, fictionalized as the modern day Chanakya. Both are kingmakers and have the requisite skills. The story takes you on a journey between ancient Bharat and modern day UP. It’s like a see-saw journey that I enjoyed quite well.
There is just one point about the book that I thought could have been handled better. The modern day Chanakya had strategies falling in place too easily. Probably because he is a fictional character.
All in all a good read. Recommended for all.
