Chandni Chowk is located on the 80 Feet Road, Near National Games Village, Koramangala.
From the exterior, it looks like a highway dhaba, and so does its name display board. Somehow in the rain & busy traffic, missed the this place and had to come back all over again in search of it again.
Well, what a relief it was having finally made it to the place, although the approach road to the dhaba could have been much better. It was really messy in the rain.
Good food can make a frowning face to smile - always... :) So here we were in the cute little dhaba kinda restaurant ready to enjoy our dinner. The hospitality was cool, well mannered and full of smiling faces. The seating arrangement I made of rough granite stones and can get uncomfortable at times. ;)
Let’s move on to the food now ...We ordered some traditional Tangdi kababs and Ghosh kababs for starters. Tangdi kababs were not as expected, but the Ghosh kabab was lovingly made, succulent and yum.
Main course included a choice tokri of rotis which consisted of trademark butter naans and lachha paranthas with a nicely presented chicken gravy (can’t get the name though). The meal was filling and got my senses evoked. Chandni Chowk is the place to be if you wish to savour the experience of a authentic dhaba menu.Overall the experience was good, but this dinner was meant for a special occasion, and it did not turn out to my expectation.
