STORY PLOT:
Story in short revolves around a old aged palace which has its own story of dancer chandramukhi being burnt alive by the king of palace.And people there believe dancer souls still haunts the palace to take revenge on king .
Climax is how Hero-psychatrist (Rajni as saravanan )helps senthilnathan(prabhu) , the present owner of palace by solving the mystery around the palace .
Rajni solving the jothika’s ’’ split personality ’’ case brings the film to end .Also his romantic end with (durga)nayanthara .
A good film for rajni with no direct enemy character .(Surely rajni fans will miss his punch dialogues a lot !)
Climax will surely keep people mesmerised thru jothika and rajni ’s acting.
CREW :
The full picture is not centralised towards rajni , but has a active participation of all actors and female partners.Film has 2 good stunts by dinesh with some matrix like effects .But the punching ones are from first fight scene , through which rajni enters the show.And art and camera is superb and well handled by thotta tharani and sekhar joseph respectively .Glittering colourful interior palace scenes and dancer ’s paintings and artefacts by tharani are well captured throu joeseph’s lens .And above all , it is P.Vasu ’s screenplay and storytelling methodology along with rajni stylish acting captures viewer’s mind .
MUSIC :
When heard first time it sounds different from ususal rajni genre songs .But hearing it again makes feel relaxed. Lyrics for ’’devuda devuda ...’’,
’’annanoda pattu ...’’ and ’’thinthom ...athin thom’’
are well composed with some ’’ususal rajni’s advices for social behaving’’ and regarding present scenario tamil film industry for ’’SUPERSTAR ’’ title .There is one
Romantic song for rajni in turkey .Song visualisation is nice with heroine and rajni amidst scenic beauty .
Of all songs ’’ ra ra ... ’’-a telugu song’s music captures the soul ...choregraphy was very nice for this song except for jothika’s (prabhu’s wife) unusual ugly makeup .
Vidyasagar has done good job and music for ’’ra ra ...’’and ’’ konja neram’’ is simply superb.
ARE U RAJNI FAN :
Watch this without any expectation , surely it will give utmost enjoyment with some cool camera effects and comedy jokes from vadivel .This film has few open double meaning dialogues which are new to rajni’s films .Eventually following the ’’A’’ dialogues trend set by’’NEW’’ director through his films.
And film may remind some people with sidney sheldon’s novel ’’TELL ME YOUR DREAMS ’’ ...core plot being ’’psychatric analysis of SPLIT PERSONALITY’’
