I am traveling to chandershkhar temple in previous year with my hostel friends.I can went with them in april time. The temple is located at saho 25 km far from chamba bus stand and 30-35 is local buses fare we reached there almost in 45min .As I can see there is not a proper bis stand at saho its a just simple road connected with 3 roads in different sides.
After this we are a group of 12 friends and we walk a distance 1-1.5km towards temple. At the entry gate I saw that the temple is closed from all sides having two way of entry only.We get in the the chandarshekhraa mahadev temple whole history is written there which tells us about its beyond temple information.Inside the temple a big shiva round stone which is protected by the nickle .but its looks like a boring place the temple is between the village and only a small palace there.
In saho shiva temple is famous for its shiv ratri Tye shivratri day is best for visiting this place rather then other is only for religious people .Nothing was excited I notice there somewhat simple journey.I am from mandi and visited to saho in 2011 .the temple is an very old palace look and have a great history which attract people to travel there.The shivratri night is celebrated there which is famous in all chamba the best day to visit there.
