Have you ever looked out to see an ever darkening sky giving way to a torrent of raindrops splattering all over your window panes?
Have you ever felt intoxicated by the way the mud smells after the rain had stopped...
Did you ever feel that the air one day tasted and smelt so sweet that you felt purified by the very touch of the breeze on our skin...
Have you ever smelt a woman you love wearing chanel no. 5?
Unfortunately for most indian men the answer would be NO. about 80% of the women and menfolk Havent even heard about this perfumes existence because of two important reasons...
1. The perfume is expensive and even a few years back spending on such perfumes by average indians was unheard of
- Chanel does not have a retailing / agent in india.alas!
I saw this woman in halflight last evening
Gently curving her way through my mind
As if I was entranced and knew her forever
As if I knew the smell of her skin..
Night was her hair so dark and smooth
Flowers the way the breeze blew her scent to me
Her lips like cherries freshly drenched with dew
And her voice my very life itself.
How you smell is a very personal affair and how you would want to smell is also a matter of your own discretion, but as far as I am concerned I love chanel no.5 and I rum out of words to show why.

The bottle also comes in an attractive square bottle which is either the clear rectangle with a black top if you buy it in the west or in a black over all bottle if you get it form the middle east. The simple packaging further symbolises the true worth of the product. You do not need a flashy bottle to sell this one.. any sane woman would want it.
WHO SHOULD WEAR IT...
Frankly the perfume can be used by anyone and everyone if she can carry it with panache...the perfume is a projection of elegance and sophistication so all you need to wear it is to make sure that you apply it only in titred amounts so that you dont end up smelling like a perfume factory!
Use it liberally though.. by that I mean use it as often as you can... almost everyday.. go ahead and make it your signature perfume (the smell that you are known by) if you dont mind.
This is a classic fragrance with an effervescent personality, it is versatile enough to be worn for a variety of occasions, winter through summer. Or take a tip from Marilyn Monroe--when the press once asked what nightwear she wore to bed, she smiled and answered, Chanel No. 5
With a reputation as one of the worlds most sophisticated, elegant fragrances, Chanel No. 5 has been known for years as the epitome of luxury, in keeping with Chanels fashion vision of simple elegance.
NOTE: 1. DO A SENSITIVITY/PATCH TEST BEFORE YOU START USING IT (aldehyde component and ylan-ylang are allergic to some women)
DO NOT APPLY IT ON CLOTHES..APPLY ON SKIN...PERFUMES SMELL DIFFERENT ON DIFFERENT MEDIA.
IF YOU WANT TO USE IT ON CLOTHES (incase you think it smells nicer that way) THEN PLEASE MAKE SURE NOT TO USE IT ON LIGHT COLOURED CLOTHES..AS IT MAY STAIN.
May your days be as fragrant as the scent itself. love to all.
