I don’t know how many of you may have actually liked the movies “Munna Bhai MBBS”, “Company” or any other film that revolves round the theme: life of a maniac.
If you want to know my ratings for these films, well they don’t merit any comment, not even a sound at all. The mere mention of their titles makes me want to vomit.
To an unsuspecting viewer, such films are morally a pleasurable experience to watch or worse, they sometimes go to great lengths to enact the roles depicted.
A qualified senior doctor, a dean, is shown as an inferior person compared to an alcoholic, illiterate, gun-totting man who takes pleasure in breaking bones for reasons of “social service”. [MOVIE: munna bhai MBBS]
A slum dweller, who seemed to know nothing about compassion and hard work except indiscriminate trigger pulling, is shown as an unfortunate young boy forgotten by society. [MOVIE: Company]
Another one that I won’t write but will mention it’s title, with great difficulty of course, is “Vaastav”. I assume you know why!
Those who have raised a voice in support of suit filths, whether intentionally or accidentally, be it the people in the print media, film industry or the common audience, they must honestly and exactly mean what they have advocated.
And they must not complain when they find themselves cornered by a rapid rise in robberies, paper leaks, rape cases, murders, etc, because it is legal to commit such acts.
Why? You have approved it publicly, didn’t you?
What’s the nature of that harmless excuse you had allowed yourself while watching and giving 5 star ratings to such films? You say it is “human nature” that these unfortunate goons seek to serve.
Well, if such a paralyzed patient as in munna bhai MBBS were to exist, a “gali-gunda” can never cure him. It is beyond the concept of impossible. But munna cured him with love, with “human nature”, and the competent doctors, I mean “doctors”, real doctors, were shown as “idiots”!
And also, if munna were to exist in real, no living female doctor will dare to marry him. But every illiterate villain will think of becoming a doctor through munna’s means, and god forbid, may forcefully rape any unfortunate female doctor should she refuses to marry, in real.
And then LO! Another new product of the “bone breaking cum social service” genre will appear. Maybe engineers will have to bear the onslaught this time, like a rural cart wheel maker joining one IIT of his choice because his poor, blind grandma saw him become an engineer in her dream, and the cart wheel maker will use the same means as was used by munna, that is social service and human nature. This will go on until the seat of a giant corporate manager is snatched by another munna, this time by a “mutant” version of the IIT thug.
Another thing that I cannot resist to mention is that munna’s father seem to be the only unique father who is really disappointed with his son’s results, as if no other father of any other medical student cares and face difficulties.
What will happen if sons in India become munna bhai to impress their babas?
A stupid civil war, I guess.
Those who have never seen life in congested metropolitan streets, “galis” and hunger stricken villages, have actually never seen India. People in the film industry who profess to know India are wealth-laden people and they have got nothing to loose.
Two and half hour of screen entertainment means nothing except relaxation to a well-settled educated man. But to a hunger stricken illiterate, such films give them a “sense of life”.
Therefore, you find more thugs shouting “ticket bole to” in DTC buses, more rape cases in places where rickshaw pullers sleep, more cell phones in examination halls, more rash motorists who thinks “madarchod” means “hello”.
A film is made to depict a theme. So try to guess the themes of today’s bollywood pride. It is done at the expense of the very, very common man. This is not about films but the impact it creates in our society.
a silent killer has been let loose.
If those people who can think and use their mind, sit and watch and do nothing while their inferiors are trying to rule them, then we must stop wishing for a future.
