Entertainment is one of the medium for refreshment. And the movies are the best entertainment medium man has ever produced. Hence People used to go to movies for making themselves refreshed. But time has changed and so are the views and taste of people.
Scenario in the Past
Since people used to go to movies to make them refreshed; they used to search for the all types of entertainment elements in all the movies they used to watch at that time. The entertainment elements they used to search in the movies are
Comedy
Romance
Action , etc.
Hence the people behind the making of the movies used to keep all types of entertainment elements in a particular movie to make it a HIT. Hence you will find everything in a particular movie (from Action, comedy to romance....) in the super hit movies, 10 years back.
Scenario in the Present
But now the time has changed and so as the taste and views of the viewers. Now maximum number of viewers do not search for all the entertainment elements in a particular movie. Rather they have started distingusing movies according to the entertainment elements.... like ’’a comedy movie’’, ’’an action movie’’, a romantic movie’’, etc. I’ll say about myself.... I prefer to watch action movies in the weekends where as I like to watch comedy movies in the weekdays if get a chance.
Changes in Bollywood Industry
Now Bollywood industry is also started thinking seriously about the changing taste and views of its audiance and also started making different kind of movies. Lets talk about SATYA, COMPANY, DDLJ, SAJAN, ANDAJ APNA APNA, etc; these movies are completely different than Sholay. When SHOLAY was a movie with all types of enetertainment elments like action, love, romance, comedy, etc....; SATYA, COMPANY, DDLJ, SAJAN, ANDAJ APNA APNA, etc are the pictures which cncentrate upon a particular type of topic though a little bit of everything(all kinds of entertainment-elements) are mixed in these movies.
Suggestions
From this one can very well judge that the taste, views and opinions of a cine goer has been changed tremendiuosly nowadays. So, the film makers has to give respect to the views and taste of te viewers to make their movies HIT....
