Channarayana Durga Fort is a beautiful historical place in madhugiri district . I visited Channarayana Durga Fort when I went to Bangalore and we had a plan to visit Channarayana Durga Fort and we booked a taxi and reached the place through Bangalore- Pune highway.
Channarayana Durga Fort is about 10 kilo metres from kortgere. Channarayana Durga Fort is a beautiful example of old architecture.
There is a small pond at the entrance of Channarayana Durga Fort . There are some small temples too inside the fort. But now a days Channarayana Durga Fort ruins due to not proper care of fort. It was the fort for which maratha and wadeyar dynasties were fighting.
This fort is a beautiful historical place government has to take action to take care of Channarayana Durga Fort . I suggest to the people who are interested in visiting historical places , this fort is a don’t miss place for you.
