I must confess that I’m a bit of a VJ basher.However, one of the few VJs I am able to stand is Gaurav from Channel V.I know he’s intelligent( I’ve heard him speak sense on occasion), that has a good sense of humor and is a natural conversationalist.He’s not what one might call a regular Adonis, though I find his eyebrows interesting.Despite all this, I think he’s awful on Hotline.
Hotline’s this call in and choose your song kinda show.Gaurav looks uncomfortable, bored and generally is unpleasant to the poor, confused callers.
The music on the show is the usual mix of Indipop, Hindi film songs and the few regulation Intl numbers.Nothing very fascinating there either.
Revamp the set, change the VJ and spruce up the song list and we might see a good show.
