Channel V is no more the channel it used to be 3 to 5 years back. The pure western music channel has transformed into just like any music channel like MTV or the punjabi music and others. There is nothing new in it. What u see in other channels you can see it here. This is not the place for a serious music maniac like me. Infact SS music is far better channel where there is a lot of western music being aired that too from different genres. The other programs are so sick and kiddish that some times I wonder what kind of people spend time watching this. I would prefer SS music over all other music channels. Its atleast understands serious music maniacs.
I really used to enjoy watching V when I was in college but now I dont even give a second look to it. I am serious about music and I like to watch some good music and good videos. Where are all the classic Pink Flyod, Metallica, or Def Leppard videos gone. Except for some, rest of all the India music is nothing but pure mediocre and stereotype. The worse the music the lesser the clothes in the videos. Where is all this heading to!. These channels have infested todays’ kids to watch nude videos with their parents. And it gets worse by the day. Show me one music channel which really moves you with ’’quality’’ and mature content for one and all. Nope.I dont think so.
